A lot of my co-workers have been having a lot of fun over the last two weeks calling me "Gramps" since the birth of my first granddaughter. Well, it seems as though some of my suppliers can't resist giving me a little ribbing as well. I received the "No Parking" sign in the mail today from one of them. He thought it was pretty funny. I told him that I would display the sign proudly in my garage.

Nude Biker Leads Trooper On Chase
SEARCY, Ark. (AP) — A naked man on a motorcycle who crashed with an Arkansas state trooper's cruiser on a night when it was sleeting faces misdemeanor charges. A police report said a 35-year-old man kept riding when a trooper tried to pull him over during the Jan. 26 incident.
The man stopped abruptly several times in the street and then sped up quickly, until the trooper bumped him on one of the stops.
The report didn't indicate any injuries but both vehicles were damaged.
A witness quoted in the police report said the man was "naked as a jaybird."
Searcy police cited the man for indecent exposure, fleeing and not having a vehicle license. State police are still investigating.

D-Day Hits The Pages Of Quick Throttle Magazine Again
My latest article just hit the stands today in the Midwest edition of Quick Throttle magazine. The article is about my day at the Harley-Davidson museum so if you live in the great Midwest, stop by your local bike shop and pick up a free copy.If you live elsewhere but still want to take a peek, you can see the article online. The online formatting is a little goofy but you'll get to see the whole article. The online version can be seen by clicking the magazine cover above.

Harley Hits Million Mark
Despite all the recent financial problems, Harley-Davidson still had a reason to celebrate as their one millionth motorcycle rolled off the line at their Kansas City plant. The bike garnering all the attention was a Red Hot Sunglo Sportster 883L. Probably fitting since the Sportster was the bike that saved Harley's backside when sales were at an all-time low and the company needed an affordable bike to appeal to a wider customer base.
