Riding A Motorcycle Helps You Stay Young

That's the claim being made by the scientists behind a new study. The brain gets activated to increased levels over a car driver because it requires heightened alertness according to Japanese scientists which can lead to smart ageing.

After splitting the test subjects into two groups, the group that rode regularly posted higher marks in cognitive function tests. Japanese scientist Kawashima said, "I think we made an interesting stir here as data showed you can improve your mental condition simply by using motorbikes to commute."

For those of us that already ride, didn't we already know this?

Now I know why all riders look so good, and here I thought it was from the automatic-face-lift effect of all that riding against the wind!

This must be true. And Motor-head is more than likely right.
