Merry Christmas!

Just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year.
I know that we all get caught up in the commercial hype of Christmas (I am guilty of this myself sometimes) but try to relax and the enjoy the holidays, relish the time with your families and remember the reason for the season. Take some time today to be thankful for all that God has given you. (I know that I've come A LONG WAY from where I was 10 years ago.) Take some time over the next week to plot a course for the coming year and make things happen.

Live life. Be happy.

P.S. Only 90 days til riding season.

Long Time...

WOW! Has it really been almost a month since my last post?!? Sorry. My bad.

I guess time has been whizzing by since I've started trying to get ready for the holidays. So much to do; so little time. I'm trying to get my Christmas shopping done, get the house in order for Christmas and sneak in some time for writing. There never seems to be enough time in a day.
OK, enough with the lame excuses.

With the snow miles high outside and "Dixie" safely packed away for her winter slumber, I've been concentrating on my writing lately. I had a condensed version of my Mexico story published in November and a different version of it that is going to be published in April. (The picture is me dancing on top of the bar in Cancun.) I'm currently putting the final touches on two other articles. One is an article of local interest which I'm hoping will be picked up by one of the local Milwaukee magazines. The other article is about what it means to be a biker. I'll be pitching that one to some of the motorcycle magazines in hopes of getting it published. The motorcyle romance novel I'm writing has been on hold for a while. With me not out riding all the time though, I should be able work on it through the winter months.

Sorry again for the delay and I'll try to be more regular with my posts.

(Only 104 days until riding season.)
